My Sister’s 17th Birthday Cake!

Published October 23, 2013 by Rubina

Considering that I was really busy, I decided that my sister’s birthday should be special even though it fell on Eidul Adha this year.

I made a lovely chocolate cake, with a fudge centre and red velvet bottom, all smothered in delectably creamy vanilla frosting.

Since she’s currently inlove with all things Parisian, I made an Eiffel Tower out of icing as a topper.

Glad to say, she loved her cake!

Ferrari F1 Race Car Cake

Published May 9, 2013 by Rubina

This was another rushed order, and I did it as the mom is a repeat customer. I did the Lalaloopsy doll cake for her previously.

The Ferrari cake was vanilla cake, layered with vanilla buttercream and covered in fondant, which had a slight strawberry’ish taste as I had to ‘spray paint’ the cake for that glossy, gorgeous Ferrari red colour.

The checkered flag is made of fondant as is the birthday message.

It was quite a huge cake!

Lalaloopsy… What an unusual name right?

Well, it was quite an unusual doll to make.

The cake is a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream, covered in coloured fondant.

Decorations are all made of fondant and are edible.

Glad to say, mom and daughter were very happy with the cake indeed!

Tinkerbell Cake by Fairy Dust Delights

Somehow Tinkerbell has made quite an impression on some of our young ladies.

I had a request for a Tinkerbell, 3 tier ‘wow’ chocolate cake!

Quite a challenge when a 4 year old knows exactly what she wants and how she wants it!

This was my interpretation, and thankfully both she and her mom were not only impressed, but loved it!

My Tinkerbell Fairy Mini Cakes

Salaam & hi to all

This is the newest in my range of cakes.

A specially made lot of Tinkerbell Fairy mini cakes for my beautiful and adorable niece for her 5th birthday! She was thoroughly blown away by the cakes when she saw them.

Everything is edible including the figurines! The only things not edible are the wrapping, cake board and a cocktail stick.

Character figurines are becoming quite popular and I will feature others soon.

My 2nd Soccer Cake

Everyone that knows me, knows I love a challenge!

Although sometimes, I tend to drive myself crazy with orders. especially because of the little details I pay attention to.

This cake took the better part of 16 hours to make. Talk about exhaustion!

I was quite thrilled with the end result though.

Hope you like it as much as I do!

Have a sweet, sparkly day
